For the launch of CARRTOONS’ Space Cadet—a 2025 album blending neo-soul, jazz, and hip-hop—Missing Frequencies Creative Studio ideated, planned, filmed, and edited two flagship music videos (“Green Eyed” featuring Pale Jay and “Labor of Love” featuring Hailé Supreme) along with a suite of vertical and staged content for social media. Across Instagram, we supported the campaign with 31 tailored posts that amplified the album’s narrative, showcased collaborators (including Wiki, Cisco Swank, Joanna Teters, and Julia Zivic), and strengthened audience connection through high-quality visual storytelling.

The Challenge

CARRTOONS needed a unified content strategy that captured the artistry, mood, and visual identity of Space Cadet while producing assets that resonated across platforms. The project required creative solutions for full-length music videos and bite-sized vertical formats that both honored the songs’ emotional depth and performed well in Instagram’s short-attention, algorithm-driven ecosystem. At the same time, the launch timeline demanded coordinated execution from pre-production through post-release distribution.

We directed and shot two full music videos, coordinating performance, location staging, and creative visuals. Alongside these flagship pieces, we captured vertical content designed specifically for Instagram engagement, including beat videos, staged location clips, and moments tailored to social behavior.
